“You Can’t Handle The Truth!”

As a healer, many of my clients are other healers. Sort of a right of passage I suppose. There is something I have been hearing that I find disturbing. It is related to the adage that most people these days have accepted pain misery despair, and illness as the normal way of being.

It seems that supporting each other  by stating what you would like to hear, versus the truth, has also become the normal way of being. You are supporting your friend, or client alright, in their illness! It is safe, after all, unless, you would like to support them in health.

I am conscious that there are many needs of a diabetic, for example, yet, wouldn’t it be grand if one just pointed out to this unfortunate person, for choosing so poorly, that they seem to be supporting the demise of their pancreas and  other important organs,  with sugars, and foods that no longer serve their health.

A close family member of mine has such a condition. I noticed the power of the mind, that this person cannot see that there is candy hidden all throughout the house, not to mention the candy for the ‘guests’ that is displayed openly.  A lie is formed to defend this behavior – sounds something like this;  “ I love taking care of my guests with candy”.  Understand, this isn’t delivered as a lie, but a justification of a behavior that sets one up for failure.

I have mentioned how powerful our minds can be haven’t I?  Since I do maintain that you possess all of the knowledge of the universe in every cell of your body, just how powerful do you think you are.

I can see how difficult it is to see the outside of the box, when  it is so perfectly created by such a powerful mind.  Yes? What if you chose to change a core belief, in this instance, the one that says, ‘I am a diabetic’, to ‘I am experiencing a diabetic condition’. [I would encourage you to only use the words “I AM” in a positively constructive way]. There is power in this. Notice, I did not ‘claim’ being a diabetic yet rather opted to express ‘experiencing the condition of..’. In this sense, I do not own nor entrain my own body into the symptoms of a diabetic with the vibration of my own voice.

I can now without fear, begin to acknowledge my behavior leading to the symptoms that I am experiencing, and make a choice  for health.  Again, a very powerful distinction.

So, instead of saying that the natural state of being is pain, misery, despair, and illness, what if you just said:

The natural way of being is healthy, anything else, I create?

Meditate.

I Forgive Myself, I Love Myself

Play a little song for meee….

Blessings and Love,

Gregory
